Utilization Insights

Typically, the EAP is thought of as a resource for counseling. It’s much
more. Think counseling + problem solving. Encourage utilization of
problem-solving services: legal, financial, and work-life balance solutions.

When talking about the EAP emphasize that the benefit is free, confidential,
and no permission is needed from the employer or HR to use the services.
Share the monthly newsletter. Forward to employees and if you have a
shared workspace, print and post.

When listening to a troubled employee encourage them to call their EAP. It
relieves you from trying to be a counselor.

Employee Assistance Programs are sometimes described as similar to
AAA. It’s there when you need it. Thrive EAP works for you, as well. Visit
